On another day, not long back, we had a very patient though sometimes sleepy model come and sit for some portraiture. She's the first drawing up on the top.
I really enjoy drawing faces, more than anything else lately, and i've played around a bit with some facial structures (these weren't real models, just my imagination). I'm interested in attitudes and reactions, but i must also make an effort to explore outside these boundaries if i'm to begin animating.
Studies of mass and balance, form and shape, are paramount!
Bodies! Bodies!
I'm hungry.

These are really cool.
ReplyDeleteFeel free to completely disregard this suggestion, but it might be an idea to take these into photoshop and play with the levels or contrast bar to make them a little easier to see. (You can make the lines stand out more, and the paper less intrusive). You can even do this with the free image viewer 'irfanview' if you are not confident with photoshop.
keep up the good work! And good luck with the preston blair book.
Yeah or maybe you should use my scanner next time you are around? Still hard to see with the camera.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Katy! And i can't thank you enough for checking out my blog :)
ReplyDeleteI'm on my way to aquiring photoshop, so i'll repost these as soon as they've been fixed.
Keep an eye out for the Preston Blair studies, soon they'll be coming thick and fast!
